Position Profile and
Role
We are currently seeking
suitably experienced Consultant Gastroenterologists to join our
team at Fiona Stanley Hospital.
As part of a multidisciplinary
team you will provide specialist medical services to
patients.
You will promote patient
quality and safety.
You will provide leadership,
training, supervision and education, where relevant, for
doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and
other health workers in collaboration with other Consultants
and the Divisional/Clinical Director/Head of Department.
You will work within the scope
of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the Health
Service Credentialing Committee.

Fiona Stanley Hospital
(FSH) is an 863-bed tertiary and quaternary hospital
providing a broad range of specialised healthcare services.
These
include the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer
centre, dedicated mental health facilities, maternity, paediatric
and neonatal care, as well as the State Adult Burns Service.
FSH
also delivers highly specialised treatments such as heart and lung
transplantation and hyperbaric medicine.
Adjacent to the hospital, the FSH
Medihotel operates within the Aegis Health Building and provides an
innovative extension of FSH healthcare services, operating 24 hours
a day, seven days a week.
