Clinical Facilitator (Clinical Facilitator) applies nursing expertise and contemporary teaching and learning practice to facilitate the learning of students and novice or beginning nurses.
The Team Join our award-winning team of Clinical Nursing and Midwifery Educators and Clinical Facilitators who work across the North West of Tasmania as patient safety guardians.
We build the clinical skills of the whole multidisciplinary team to respond to patient deterioration.
We develop innovative evidence-based programs to build the clinical competence of nurses across the spectrum of practice.
Participate in whole of health service simulation exercises.

Positions are available at Northwest Regional Hospital.
The Role Develop the clinical competencies of the Emergency Department team Supervise and mentor Junior team members Support the education program in the Emergency Department You will need to have strong emergency nursing skills and have completed your own resus and triage training.
You will need to have a desire to support the team through education and be willing to learn and develop your own education assessment skills.

Details of appointment Fixed term, part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 32 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible until the 28 April ****.

Salary $102,439 to $105,995 pro rata per annum.
Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement ****.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type Salary Packaging

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable: Progressing towards Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and-or relevant post graduate qualifications.
More than 4 years' experience as a registered nurse.
