You will help ensure the smooth running of daily patient services and deliver a welcoming experience for our patients.This is a permanent part-time position suited to someone who is organised, reliable, and confident working both independently and as part of a close-knit team.Key responsibilities include:Welcoming patients and providing professional front-of-house reception servicesRegistering new patients, managing appointments, and processing paymentsAnswering phone calls and responding to patient enquiries in a timely and professional mannerSupporting Specialists with daily clinic preparation, including appointment lists and referral checksMaintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality at all timesLiaising with GPs, specialists,



allied health providers, and external medical organisationsEnsuring medical correspondence and reports are processed and sent efficientlyCompleting end-of-day banking and Tyro settlementsAssisting with general practice tasksAbout YouYou are an experienced medical receptionist who understands the importance of professionalism, accuracy, and compassionate patient care.To be successful in this role, you will have:Previous medical reception experience within a specialist practice or general practice setting (essential)Experience using Xestro Practice Management Software or similar medical practice management systemsStrong understanding of medical administration processes and terminologyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional attention to detail and organisational skillsThe ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy reception environmentA proactive approach and willingness to learn new skillsA professional and friendly manner with patients, doctors, and colleaguesPrevious experience working within a specialist medical practice will be highly regarded.If you are looking for a permanent part-time role where your experience and contribution are valued, we would love to hear from you.Apply today to join the Flow Health team.
