For someone who believes exceptional clinical care and genuine moments of joy belong together.
Because that's what great care is.
About Symbol – Positive Aged CareSymbol – Positive Aged Care is a privately owned and operated entity of the Peiris Group, a WA-based family office with a strong reputation across the not-for-profit and support services sectors and a growing portfolio of purpose-driven businesses.
Symbol is newly established with a vision to restore warmth, grace and genuine human connection to the delivery of support at home.
While the sector has matured significantly in its regulatory and operational capability, we believe there remains an enormous opportunity to combine clinical excellence with true hospitality.
At Symbol, care is delivered via the lens of hospitality.
Every interaction is considered.
Every environment is intentional.
Every person is treated as a valued individual, not a number.
We believe aged care should feel warm, engaging and human.
It should create comfort without compromise, professionalism without coldness, and structure without rigidity.
Our approach blends clinical excellence with the attentiveness, service standards and emotional intelligence found in the best hospitality experiences.
This philosophy shapes how we design spaces, train teams, communicate with families and build community.
It ensures care feels personal, warm and genuinely positive.
And that's where you come in.
About the Role.
About You.Building something meaningful from the ground up requires courage, capability and conviction.
As a Senior Registered Nurse at Symbol, you will work at the intersection of clinical rigour and genuine human care —ensuring that every service we deliver is safe, compliant and unmistakably personal.
This is not a hospital-based role.
You will be practising in the homes and lives of our Members, where the clinical environment is intimate, the relationships are real, and the standard you bring matters in ways that go beyond a checklist.
You will bring both the technical capability to identify and manage clinical risk, and the emotional intelligence to do so in a way that never diminishes the person in front of you.
You are experienced, assured and genuinely person-centred.
You understand the regulatory framework you operate within, and you take your responsibilities under it seriously — from medication management to SIRS reporting, from restrictive practices compliance to supporting and mentoring the nurses and care staff around you.
You know that what you bring to someone's home is more than just clinical skill, and you treat that moment accordingly.
