About the OpportunityPGC Resources is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor / Electrical Superintendent to join our client on a major Defence project across HMAS Stirling, CUF Henderson and Austal Henderson.
This full-time opportunity is expected to commence 3 August **** (TBC) and is offered as an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for ongoing work based on project requirements and your preferences.
Working hours are 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with regular overtime available.
Employees also accrue 2 hours each week towards a rostered day off (RDO).
About the ClientOur client is a respected contractor specialising in the installation, construction and maintenance of electrical systems on Defence vessels.
They deliver high-quality electrical services across a range of complex marine and Defence projects and have built a strong reputation for safety, quality and reliability.
About the RoleAs the Electrical Supervisor / Superintendent, you will provide leadership and technical oversight to a skilled electrical workforce, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities include:




Leading and supervising teams of electricians, apprentices and trainees
Managing labour allocation, resourcing and daily work planning
Overseeing project start-up and close-out activities
Attending daily client and project meetings
Conducting toolbox talks and promoting a strong safety culture
Monitoring project progress and supporting the team during peak workloads
Mentoring and developing team members
Ensuring work complies with quality, safety and project requirements
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong leadership skills and previous experience supervising electrical teams within industrial, marine or Defence environments.
Essential Requirements
WA A Grade Electrical Licence
Current C Class Driver's Licence
Current National Police Clearance
DesirableDefence Security Clearance
