Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $113K pa to $125K pa + super
As a Park Planning Officer with the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, you'll be part of a large and collaborative team working across the state.
This is your chance to contribute to the management of some of NSW's most iconic national parks in a varied and strategic role that spans the entire state.About the RoleIn this role, you will:
Prepare plans and strategies under the National Parks and Wildlife Act **** that guide long‐term conservation, sustainable visitor access and integrated park management across large, complex protected area landscapes.
Work closely with Aboriginal advisory groups, communities, experts and statutory bodies to integrate cultural, ecological and social values into planning.
Support project milestones, risk management and statutory processes for developing plans of management.
Help identify park values, assess threats and develop practical, evidence‐based planning responses for a large, complex landscape.

Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.




Demonstrated knowledge of the subject matter including contemporary park management issues, best practise, relevant legislation and statutory obligations.
Current Australian Class C Driver Licence (or equivalent).
