About the role
The Manager, People & Capability plays a central role in shaping employee capability, culture and engagement across the organisation. Reporting to the Director, People Experience within the People, Culture and Sustainability team, you will work closely with colleagues and leaders to support the full employee lifecycle and embed contemporary people practices aligned with organisational priorities.
In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of development initiatives, driving talent and succession planning, and championing culture, engagement and recognition programs that enhance the employee experience. You will partner with leaders to support effective performance planning, provide guidance across a broad range of people matters, and contribute to strategic and operational projects that improve frameworks, systems and processes.
You will also collaborate closely with leaders on recruitment, organisational change and employee communications,
while overseeing diversity and belonging initiatives that foster an inclusive, respectful and connected workplace.
About you
You bring well‑rounded generalist human resources experience across key people disciplines, including employee relations, performance management and development. You have demonstrated experience in designing and delivering programs that support talent management and employee development, and culture, engagement and employee recognition programs.
Your background also includes supporting organisational change and delivering transparent, engaging employee communications during periods of transition.
You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organisation. Supported by your sound commercial acumen and strong stakeholder management skills, you are able to influence and partner with leaders to achieve business outcomes.
Your approachable and empathetic style helps you create positive employee experiences and foster trust across the organisation. You thrive in dynamic, fast‑paced environments and enjoy working collaboratively, stepping beyond your immediate responsibilities when needed.

attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
