Ongoing full-time vacancy.
The Executive Assistant is accountable to the Assistant Commissioner for the provision of high level, confidential secretarial, administrative and research support services thereby contributing to the achievement of Service objectives.
This position will frequently liaise and build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including those who may have sensitive and confidential requirements, contribute to the achievement of overall service objectives, and provide a high level of administrative support.
The incumbent must have a high level of stakeholder engagement and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Executive Assistant will demonstrate initiative and be able to proactively anticipate ahead, the needs of the Assistant Commissioner. Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, business acumen, highly organised with a strong focus on attention to detail, be resilient and highly adaptable, the ability to think laterally, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Special Conditions
- The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
- The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
- The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.
Salary
ASO4 - $82,212 - $86,180 per annum.
