Their continued success is driven by strong partnerships with Specifiers, Contractors, Flooring Retailers, and across the broader construction network. This role will play a key part in their national expansion strategy.
Role
You will heading up the team in the state of Victoria and oversee a high performing team of 6 in Sales, as well as 3 in the Warehouse. Your time will be spent leading from the front in terms of client development, as well as hiring, training and mentoring your recent team in Melbourne.
You will ideally be able to leverage your relationships within key specifiers within th construction industry, with the current routes to market being Designers, Builders & Trades & Flooring Retailers.



You will be responsible for increasing sales revenue, reaching percentage growth targets and also assisting the team to reach the overall state budget.
Skills & Experience
Solid building products sales and management experience
Proven track record in sales leadership, coaching and mentoring sales teams
A strong network and experience dealing with the A&D; community is a must have
Experience within the flooring and related products industry is highly desired
Strong understanding of the specification process and technical aptitude
High degree of energy, self-motivation and desire to be rewarded with your hard efforts
Existing relationships with specifiers and decision makers in the specification process
Reliable track record of employment and desire to move into a long-term career role
The salary package is negotiable based on experience ranging from $120,000-$140,000 Base and will also include a Car or Car Allowance, Super, Tools of Trade and a management incentives scheme.
