About the role
The Business Technology Partner position has been created to enhance the effectiveness of the technology function as it continues to grow and transform.
This role will play a critical part in the delivery of a 'state of the art' technology function that is scalable and able to carry this business in the future.
Some of the key tasks aligned to this role include:
Provide technological advice and guidance to business units as a Technology business partner
Collaborate with your stakeholders to gain a practical understanding of business requirements and provide high level solution design and supporting documentation.
Preparation of business cases including the commercial aspect of costs vs. advantage and securing funding.




Drive process improvement initiatives through a continuous improvement lens.
Develop and maintain robust working relationships with stakeholders throughout the business where you have positioned yourself as a trusted advisor.
About You!
You will hold relevant IT qualifications such as a degree and project management / business analysis related certifications.
You are proven at building business cases to support IT projects of varying sizes and value.
You are a commercial thinker who understands investment appraisals, ROI / Cost vs. Benefits.
You are strong with continuous / process improvement initiatives (Six Sigma certified applicants will be highly regarded)
You are able to bring order and organisation to technology projects, where you can prioritise and schedule work to meet demands.
Interpersonally, you are exceptional at building trust and confidence with your stakeholders.
Due to the broad nature of this role, the successful candidate could have a background as an IT PM, Scrum Master, Portfolio Manager or IT executive looking for a standalone role that can have real impact.
