As a School Crossing Supervisor, you will play a vital role in keeping school-aged children, families, and pedestrians secure during busy morning and afternoon school times. This is a rewarding position where you'll become a familiar and trusted face in your local community.
Positions are available across the City of Monash, with placements offered as close to your home as possible based on operational requirements and availability.
About the role
Assist children and pedestrians to safely cross the road during peak school hours
Work outdoors and engage positively with the local community
Morning shifts between 8:00am – 9:00am and/or afternoon shifts between 3:00pm – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday during school terms




Prospect to work at multiple locations within the council area when required
To be successful, you will
Be friendly, reliable, community-minded, and confident communicating with people of all ages
Be available for morning and/or afternoon shifts during school terms
Hold, or be willing to obtain, a
Working With Children Check
Be flexible to work across different crossing locations if needed
Be able to pass a
Police Check
and
Medical Clearance
