About the Role
Join the Tree Services team undertaking tree maintenance and removal across the Redland City Council region. This is a ground-based role involving the protected operation of EWPs, chainsaws and pole saws.
Tree climbing is not required
, making this an excellent prospect for a tree climber,



EWP operator or groundsperson seeking improved work-life balance.
Duties include:
Tree trimming and tree removal
Operating EWPs, chainsaws and pole saws
Assisting with tree maintenance works
Working safely in accordance with Council procedures and Australian Standards
Requirements
You must hold
one
of the following qualifications:
Certificate III in Horticulture (or equivalent)
Certificate III in Arboriculture
Certificate in Landscape Construction (including Playground Inspector Level 2)
Certificate in Conservation & Land Management, Fire Management, or equivalent
Desirable
Chainsaw Level 1 & 2
EWP Ticket
MR Driver's Licence
Knowledge of AS* Pruning of Amenity Trees
Experience in tree maintenance or vegetation management
