The Australian Government is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons for appointment as the Independent National Security Legislation Monitor (INSLM). The INSLM reviews Australia's national security and counter‐terrorism laws to assess protections for individual rights, proportionality and necessity.
Appointments are for up to 3 years and can be full‐time or part‐time. Eligibility includes ability to obtain Positive Vetting or Top Secret-Privileged Access clearance.
