Multiquip Poultryis a national company dedicated to supporting the poultry industry across Australia. Our services cover all aspects of transporting live birds from farms to processing plants, including the transportation of eggs, fully grown birds, feed, and grain.
We are currently seeking an experienced Night Shift HC Driver to join our team based at our Mareeba QLD depot.
This is a full-time opportunity for drivers who are committed to safety and high standards of live bird transport.
This role is permanent 4 shifts per week, all locally based transport – be home after each shift
The Role:
Start and end your day at our Mareeba depot
Transporting of trailers between farms to processing plants, all local work
Use an Electronic Work Diary (EWD)
Conduct daily pre-start checks
This is night shift work starting at 9pm each day and finishing early morning
All bird handling is done by other staff this is transport only
About You:
Hold a valid HC licence with minimum 2 years of proven driving experience
Experience with live bird or livestock transport is preferred




Committed to animal welfare and safety compliance
Solid punctuality and a customer-focused attitude
Able to work independently and follow delivery schedules
BFM (Basic Fatigue Management) certified or willing to obtain
Willing to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
Able to provide a current driver's licence printout

This is a dynamic, round-the-clock operation and no two days are the same. Delays and changes can occur due to the nature of live transport, seeking adaptable drivers who can adapt to varying start times and schedules.
Note: Due to quarantine procedures, successful applicants must not have live poultry or pigs at their residence.
