Finance Manager - Property - 3 month contract
My client is looking for a Finance Manager for a 3+ month contract to manage month and quarter end accounting, reporting and tax compliance across a portfolio of investor accounts.
This is a complex and rapid-paced environment, delivering fund accounting services across a range of investors - each with unique reporting requirements, formats, and deadlines.
It will suit a highly motivated finance qualified who thrives under pressure and enjoys balancing multiple priorities without compromising on accuracy or governance.
Key Responsibilities
Partnering with Fund Managers to provide end-to-end financial reporting support
Managing the month end and quarter end reporting timetable across multiple investor mandates
Preparing and reviewing board reporting papers




Preparing distribution calculations and reviewing management fee calculations
Reviewing monthly investor reporting, unit pricing, trial balance and consolidation entries
Reviewing quarterly statements of taxable income, annual tax returns and monthly BAS workings
The ideal candidate will be CA/CPA qualified, ideally with experience in the Property space.
You'll bring a strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS), with property and/or funds management experience highly valued and exposure to an ERP such as SAP, Oracle or HFM.
An immediate start is required and the role is supervising 1 direct report.
You'll also be comfortable managing shifting priorities and ambiguity in a high-pressure setting.
