Junior CAD Draftsperson / Production Designer
ACCENT BENCHTOPS
is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior CAD Draftsperson to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver, recent TAFE graduate, or someone looking to start a career in drafting and design. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
About the Role
You will be responsible for producing 2D shop drawings for stone benchtops used in kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, and commercial projects. Working closely with our production, and installation teams, you will help ensure projects are accurately drafted and prepared for manufacture.
Duties Include
Producing 2D CAD drawings for stone benchtops
Interpreting site measurements and plans
Preparing drawings for manufacturing and installation
Updating job information and project records
Communicating with customers and internal staff regarding design details
Assisting with project coordination as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:




Has strong attention to detail
Enjoys working with computers and technology
Has good maths and problem-solving skills
Is willing to learn and develop new skills
Has a positive attitude and robust work ethic
Can work effectively as part of a team
Preferred but Not Essential
Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software
Experience in cabinetry, construction, joinery, architecture, or drafting
