Medical Receptionist Specialist Practice
Toowoomba Cardiac Centre is currently seeking a full time (38 hour week) Medical Receptionist for our busy specialist practice within St Vincent's Hospital, Toowoomba.
Toowoomba Cardiac Centre provides comprehensive and compassionate care to improve the experience and outcomes for patients.
As a team, we provide exceptional service to our patients with a caring nature and professionalism at all times.
Duties include:
Providing first line contact with patients in a friendly and courteous manner
Attending to general enquiries from patients and surgeries
Preparing and running our Clinics
Preparing admission paperwork, quotes, theatre lists
Liaising with Hospitals, Anaesthetists, Medicare & other health providers
Data entry and scanning of medical documents




Proof reading of letter correspondence back to referring Doctors
Ideal candidate skills and attributes.
Professionalism and confidentiality
Excellent patient service and communication skills
A qualified appearance and exceptional spoken and written English
A team player who is always happy to help their colleagues
Knowledge of health fund billing, Medicare & DVA
Punctuality and being adaptable with hours (when needed)
Being able to prioritise, being highly organised and thinking one step ahead

Remuneration is negotiable based on experience.
