Our client is a quick-growing AWS consultancy partner, delivering agentic AI and cloud-native solutions for enterprise clients across Australia.
Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer to join their delivery team on a contract basis.
What you'll be doing:
You'll design and build production grade agentic AI systems on AWS, working across the full serverless stack to deliver scalable, event-driven architectures for enterprise clients.
Skills required:
Serverless
Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions, including event-driven architectures, orchestration patterns, and integration design
Amazon Bedrock
Knowledge Bases, AgentCore, and Foundation Models, including agentic architectures, retrieval-augmented generation, and model selection




Strands
Strands Agents SDK, including agent development patterns, tool integration, and orchestration
Storage
Amazon DynamoDB and Amazon S3, including data modelling, access patterns, and lifecycle management
Nice to have:
GitHub Actions - CI/CD pipeline design, workflow authoring, and integration with AWS deployment targets
AWS CDK
