About the role
Australian Sports Nutrition (ASN) is hiring a hands-on creator who can plan, film, edit and publish short-form video that tells our brand story. You'll drive organic growth and produce cut-downs for paid campaigns. Solid stills and
basic static ad design
are a plus.
Casual or freelance retainer considered. Role is based in Newcastle -must be available here
Key responsibilities
Plan,
shoot
and
edit
short-form vertical video (Reels/TikTok/Shorts).
Publish, caption and optimise posts; engage comments/DMs; grow community.
Translate ideas into repeatable content formats; iterate from analytics.
Create
straightforward static assets
(tiles, carousels, thumbnails) in Canva/Adobe.
Produce ad-ready variations for paid social; align to content calendars.
Use modern AI tools to speed up editing, captions, transcripts and repurposing.
About you
Portfolio of short-form videos you
shot and edited
.




Confident both behind and in front of the camera (VO/piece-to-camera).
CapCut, Premiere or Final Cut; Canva (or Adobe) for static assets.
Understand hooks, retention and pacing for TikTok/Reels.
Interest in health/fitness (supplement knowledge can be taught).
Self-directed and organised; able to work across stores;
licence + car required
.
Nice to have: Meta ads basics; photography/Lightroom; audio/lighting.
Working arrangements & perks
