We're currently seeking an experienced Trade Qualified Maintenance Fitter to join our client's growing manufacturing team based in Geebung.

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery and equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimise downtime
Service, repair and maintain plant and manufacturing equipment
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades and improvement projects
Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site
To be successful in this role, you will have:




Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter or similar mechanical trade with relevant maintenance experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance workplace (plastics industry experience highly regarded)
Robust mechanical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Experience with automation systems is advantageous
Knowledge of permit-to-work systems and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a team
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Restricted Electrical Licence (desirable but not essential)
