The Department of Education is seeking qualified and passionate Teacher Aide (Educational Interpreter - Auslan) to join a Statewide Recruitment Pool to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students across Queensland state schools.
About The Role
As a Teacher Aide (Educational Interpreter - Auslan), you will:
Provide Auslan-English interpreting in classroom and school settings
Support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students to access curriculum content and classroom interactions
Work collaboratively with teachers, specialists and school leadership
Maintain skilled interpreting standards and ethical boundaries
Contribute to inclusive education practices and culturally safe learning environments
Appointments may be Permanent or Temporary, Full time or Part time, depending on school need and available vacancies.
