Medical Receptionist (Casual)
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and qualified
Medical Receptionist
to join our busy general practices on a casual basis.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an key role in providing excellent customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
Welcoming patients and managing appointments.
Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries.
Processing patient registrations and maintaining accurate records.
Managing billing, Medicare claims, and EFTPOS transactions.
Liaising with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
General administrative and reception duties.
About You
Previous medical reception experience is preferred.
Experience using
Best Practice
medical software is highly regarded.




Training can be provided for the right candidate.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid organisational and time management abilities.
Ability to multitask and work well in a busy setting.
Professional presentation and a caring, patient-focused approach.
