Billings & Collections Officer (Accounts Receivables)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Billings & Collections Officer (Accounts Receivables) to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Resi Finance Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing resident billing, accounts receivable, collections and compliance activities across our residential aged care services.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

- Manage resident billing and accounts receivable processes
- Monitor and recover outstanding debts in a professional and timely manner
- Investigate and resolve billing queries and account discrepancies
- Ensure fees and charges are applied in line with resident agreements and legislation
- Maintain accurate records and collection activity notes
- Prepare reports on accounts receivable and debt recovery performance
- Support compliance with aged care and prudential requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes

About You

To be successful, you will have:

- Experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections or a similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills




- Intermediate to advanced Excel and computer skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
- A collaborative approach and solid stakeholder management skills

Highly Regarded

- Experience within Aged Care, Healthcare or Community Services
- Knowledge of aged care fees, funding and the Aged Care Act
- Experience in compliance, risk or credit management
- Understanding of debt recovery processes and credit risk reporting
