THE CROSSING POINT DINER TAKEAWAY PTY LTD is a well-established dine-in & take away business located in Lavington, NSW. We are committed to providing quality meals and excellent customer service. Due to business growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present a variety of meals in accordance with the menu and quality standards.
- Prepare ingredients and ensure food is cooked to specification.
- Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation.
- Assist with menu planning and the development of new dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and WHS regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification; or
- At least 1 year of relevant full-time post-qualification experience, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
