Where required, assist and supervise individuals to undertake a range of activities of daily living including personal and self care, eating and maintenance of personal hygiene, using the principles of active support within our group housing accommodation.
Support individuals to use their preferred method of communication and assist them to be understood, listened to and responded to at all times.
Work effectively with people who have high physical needs and/or behaviours of concern implementing manual handling assessments and/or behaviour support plans as required and in keeping with True Living Accommodation and Respite procedures and policies.
Maintain documentation, records and data collection as required and in accordance with the relevant legislation and True Living Accommodation and Respite policies and reporting on clients
Interact and communicate with other team members in the interests of service users and of achieving a consistent approach to service provision.
Interact and communicate with other community groups, government bodies including NDIS,



Social workers and support workers and private businesses in the role
The successful will need to have versatile availability, including weekends, evenings, public holidays, and overnight shifts.

Mandatory Requirements:
Qualification Level Required: Diploma in Home and Community Care,Aged Care, Community Services, Individual Support, Disability, Mental Health or similar relevant field of study;At least one year full time or equivalent Industry experienceCOVID CertificateNSW Valid driver's license
