We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focusedDental Receptionistto join our team for a6-month fixed-term position, workingMonday to Thursday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
This role is available due to a valued team member taking extended leave.
While the position is initially for six months, there may be an chance for ongoing employment should circumstances change.
About the role
As the first point of contact for our patients and families, you will play an important role in ensuring every visit to Dental Paediatrix is welcoming, organised and qualified.
Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting patients and their families with warmth and professionalism.
Managing appointments and the daily appointment schedule.
Answering phone and email enquiries.
Processing payments and health fund claims.




Providing exceptional customer service.
General administrative and reception duties.
Experience with dental practice software is advantageous but not essential.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous dental reception experienceorexceptional reception or medical administration experience.
Enjoys working with children and their families.
Has outstanding customer service and communication skills.
Is organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities.
Works well both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Maintains a positive, friendly and skilled attitude.
Experience as a dental assistant would be viewed favourably but is not essential.
