About WGP (part of the Nathan Group)

WGP Contractors is a structural grouting and waterproofing company in the renewable energy space. We provide services for projects as wind farms, substations, battery storage facilities and other civil projects.

About the Role:

You will be required to perform a variety of tasks to support our projects. The role involves physical work, operating hand and power tools, site preparation and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

This is a fantastic opportunity for career development and if interested, be trained to be a Grouting Technician.

Immediate start

Monday to Friday (6am to 5pm) with occasional weekend and swing work

Flat hourly rate

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general labouring duties on civil construction sites.

Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.

Operate hand tools and basic power tools safely.

Assist plant operators and skilled tradespeople as required.

Maintain a clean and safe worksite through housekeeping activities.

Follow site safety procedures, policies, and environmental requirements.

Assist with traffic control and site setup activities.

Identify and report hazards,



incidents, or unsafe work practices.

Participate in toolbox meetings and safety briefings.

Carry out other duties as directed by the Leading Hands

Key Requirements:

Previous experience in civil construction or general labouring preferred

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments

Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements

Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team

Positive communication and problem solving skills

Reliable, punctual and safety focussed attitude

Ability to travel to projects from time to time

Tickets:

Construction White Card

Manual drivers licence and reliable transport

Additional RII tickets highly regarded

Forklift licence advantageous
