About the position

Corangamite Shire Council is looking for a Concreter to assist with all aspects of concrete preparation, pouring, screeding and finishing, and to carry out construction and maintenance work on Council’s road network, properties and facilities.

Main responsibilities

- Assisting with the laying of replacement and recent footpaths, kerb and channel and various other maintenance works.
- General concrete tasks including preparation, formwork, pouring and finishing.
- Operating and maintaining plant in an efficient and safe manner on construction and maintenance jobs.
- Maintaining and monitoring traffic control and safety signing on the job as required.
- Maintaining accurate time sheets and work program documentation.

About you

- Sound working knowledge in the operation, safe use and maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Experience in civil construction and maintenance works, ideally as a Concreter,



or willingness to learn on the job.
- Current Victorian Driver Licence.
- Medium Rigid (MR) Driver Licence endorsement, Construction Induction Card and Traffic Management Ticket, or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
- Recent National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
