Machine Operator/Factory Hand - Night ShiftRepeta is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator/Factory Hand to join our night shift manufacturing team in Riverstone, NSW.
This is a 3-month trial into a permanent full-time position where you will play a vital role in our production operations, ensuring efficient and safe machine operation whilst maintaining our high standards of quality and output.
As a Machine Operator/Factory Hand, you will be part of a small team responsible for operating manufacturing equipment in the plastic resin industry, preparing feedstock, troubleshooting minor issues.What you'll be doingOperating and monitoring production machinery (plastic extrusion) according to established procedures and specificationsOperating forklift for material preparation and handlingPerforming routine maintenance checks and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performanceInspecting products for defects and ensuring compliance with quality standardsRecording production data and maintaining accurate logs of machine operationsIdentifying and reporting equipment malfunctions or irregularities to supervisory staffFollowing all safety protocols and contributing to a secure working workplace for yourself and colleaguesAssisting with setup and changeover of machinery between production runsCollaborating with the production team to meet daily and weekly targetsAssisting maintenance staff with repairs where neededWhat we're looking forExperience as a Machine Operator/Factory Hand or in a similar manufacturing role preferredForklift license is preferred but not mandatoryStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standardsMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for basic equipment issuesAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamWhat we offerAt Repeta, we will provide training and support to the right applicant with opportunities to progress.
