In this role, you will carry out electrical work relating to the installation, testing, and maintenance of smart meters and associated equipment.
You'll ensure secure, effective, and high-quality delivery of daily activities in line with client, business, and industry expectations.This is a field-based position, so you must be willing to travel as required,



and some Saturday work will be included depending on workload and operational needs.The below will be provided by Macquarie ElectricTesting EquipmentVehicle (with Personal Use)IPadAll required specialised training/authorisationsKey ResponsibilitiesComplete meter installations, exchanges, maintenance, testing, and special investigationsPerform troubleshooting and wiring verification on metering systemsObtain load profile and other data from metering equipmentPromote compliance with industry standards and internal policiesSupport MQE performance KPIs across safety, delivery, and customer satisfactionEnsure timely and accurate data capture and completion of documentation, including risk assessmentsComply with all policies, procedures, privacy, and confidentiality requirementsRequirementsMust be a qualified electrician (essential)Meter Technician experience desirableMust be willing to travel for work as requiredMust be available for some Saturdays as part of operational needsIf you're a qualified electrician looking to enter the metering industry, or an experienced Meter Technician who enjoys field work, values safety, and takes pride in delivering great results, we'd love to hear from you.
