About the Role

Imagine designing some of the largest mining equipment in Australia, then walking through the workshop a few weeks later to see your designs taking shape in steel.

At Schlam,you'llhave a rare chance to work closely with the end-to-end design and manufacturing process. One monthyou'redeveloping a complex dump body design, the nextyou'rewatching it being built in our workshop before heading to site and going to work in one of the world's largest mining operations.

This role will suit someone who enjoys:

- Working on large,



technically detailed projects
- Developing accurate and robust engineering solutions
- Creating and maintaining detailed 3D models, drawings and BOMs
- Applying a methodical and structured approach to engineering
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders across engineering, operations and manufacturing
- Seeing a project through from concept to production

What You'll Bring

- Mechanical Engineering degree(preferred) or equivalent experience
- Experience in mechanical design and engineering documentation
- Strong CAD capability, ideally SolidWorks
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Knowledge of fabrication,weldingand heavy industrial equipment
- Ability to balance autonomy with collaboration
