You will work in a team setting that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.As a Cook your responsibilities will include:Cook, deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal traysAssist in daily food preparation and meal assemblyMaintaining a clean and tidy environment for all food service related areas of the hospitalCleaning duties, including fridges and preparation areas, kitchen area,



dish wash areaClean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standardsGeneral cleaning and sanitising of all areas of food preparation areas.Monitoring and recording of all relevant food safety dataSelection Criteria:Prior experience in Healthcare Food ServicesKnowledge of food safety and hygiene requirementsPreferable knowledge of dietary restriction and allergiesAbility to work autonomously, without supervision, as well as a part of a teamDemonstrate a excellent work ethic and attention to detailRespectful and work well with others to achieve goalsAct with integrity and show care for the people you work withEmbrace change and seek ways to improve serviceMotivated by personal growth and accountabilityFlexible to work a variety of shifts - split shifts, morning/afternoon shifts & weekend workThe successful applicant will require a minimum of Food Handling Certificate, Police Check as well as a valid Working with Children Check.
