We're opening a brand-recent specialist centre in Marrickville, and we're looking for a Medical Receptionist to help us get it right from day one.This is part of Childrens Health Hub/Gutopia — a growing group of specialist paediatric and adult gastroenterologists .
You'll be the first face and voice patients and families meet, so we need someone warm, organised, and genuinely positive with people.What you'll be doingGreeting patients and managing a busy reception deskAnswering and triaging phone callsBooking and managing appointments across multiple cliniciansProcessing payments and basic billing (Medicare,



private billing)Keeping the day running smoothly for our specialists and their patientsGeneral admin support as the centre gets up and runningWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in a medical or allied health reception role (specialist practice experience highly regarded)Comfortable with practice management software (we use Clinic to Cloud) — happy to train the right personCalm under pressure, well-presented, and a genuinely friendly mannerStrong attention to detail, especially with billing and patient recordsReliable, punctual, and a team playerBe part of a brand-current centre from the ground upSalary - $30–$35 per hourIf this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
