Workshop is on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
Small, tight team with genuine room to grow the role as the business grows.The workRoughly 85% workshop based, the rest at customer sites, 15% aerospace, maritime.
You'll be:Overhauling complex, precision-built equipment from rolling stock / rail intricate kit, multi-faceted trade workServicing and repairing pumps, valves, pipework and control panels from a range of systemsWorking on RO plants and fuel filtration systems on planes and shipsInstalls, commissioning, testing and certificationCompleting inspection and test documentation to regulated-industry standardWho this suitsA trade-qualified mechanical fitter, plumber or HVAC tech who's comfortable across pumps, valves, pipework and control panels.
Anyone from the plumbing,
drainage or water infrastructure side would hit the ground running.
It's not a fit for straight hydraulic or high-pressure fitters.You'll needCert III in a mechanical, plumbing, HVAC or similar trade disciplineHands-on experience with pumps, valves and pipeworkA plumbing or drainage background would go down wellGood with customers and able to keep tidy paperwork, service reports, test docs and parts records done properlyFit and healthy, physical roleEligible for a Defence security clearanceThe package$90k-$100k + Super depending on experience and qualifications + a outstanding annula bonus.Interstate travel comes up occasionally with a few months' notice, and they work around your home life commitments.
