Experienced Fitter/Machinist
Our client a respected and well-established industry leader, is seeking an Experienced Fitter/Machinist to join their modern workshop located in Cardiff.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, full time hours with a high hourly rate and consistent work.
What's on Offer
Monday to Friday roster
6:00am - 2:30pm
$50 per hour + super + overtime
Modern workshop with quality equipment
Key Responsibilities
Operation of Bed Mills, Horizontal Bores, and Lathes
Operation of Key Press, Drill Press, and Saw
Shaft turning and precision machining




General workshop and machine maintenance
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics
CNC experience an advantage
About You
The successful candidate will have:
Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade
On the job experience as a Fitter, Turner, or Machinist
Full Australian working rights
Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
A proactive and safety-focused mindset with solid WHS awareness
High levels of reliability, punctuality, and work ethic
Physical capability to meet the demands of the role
