Mechanical Fitters – Permanent and CasualWater, Wastewater and Infrastructure ProjectsAbout Re-Pump AustraliaRe-Pump Australia delivers mechanical installation, refurbishment, commissioning, service and maintenance works across Queensland, with a solid focus on water and wastewater infrastructure.Due to ongoing project requirements, we are seeking casual and permanent Mechanical Fitters and mechanically skilled tradespeople to support our workshop and project teams.About the WorkWork may be based from our Sumner Park workshop or on project sites throughout Queensland and may include:Installing and replacing pumps, valves, pipework and mechanical equipmentPump station upgrades and refurbishment worksMechanical assembly, dismantling and equipment replacementEquipment alignment, testing and commissioning assistanceGeneral fitting, maintenance and installation workOpportunities include short-term assignments, ongoing casual work, overtime, shutdowns and regional projects.About YouWe are interested in hearing from applicants with practical mechanical fitting, maintenance or installation experience.Ideally,



you will have:Mechanical fitting, maintenance, installation or construction experienceGood mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skillsThe ability to work safely and follow instructionsThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamA current Driver's LicenceConstruction White CardA Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or similar qualification is preferred.
However, applicants with solid relevant mechanical, pump, industrial or installation experience are also encouraged to apply.Experience in water and wastewater, pumps, pipework, welding or fabrication will be highly regarded.Additional licences such as Confined Space, Working at Heights, Dogging, Rigging, EWP, Forklift, MR or HR will also be viewed favourably but are not essential.What We OfferGreat hourly rates based on skills and experienceOvertimeA variety of projectsOpportunities for ongoing workSupport from our experienced mechanical and project team
