The Pelican Waters Hotel is seeking a dedicated,Gaming Manager to take full operational ownership of our high-performing gaming room and lead a service-focused team.
"The Pelican" is a high-performing coastal flagship.
We aren't looking for an administrator to sit in the back office, we need a floor-focused leader who lives for player engagement, obsesses over room presentation, and knows exactly how to drive exceptional hospitality while building deep local rapport with our loyal regulars and visitors.
A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:
Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
Share your gaming know-how and help your team be the best in the biz
Bring the valuable vibes, excellent service, and friendly smiles every shift
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries).
Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
You've been in the gaming room world for a while,



as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
You've learned from great managers and are ready to step up
You've got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
You've got a current RSA and RSG/RCG as per state requirements
