We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Officer to support the day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities working within a small team.
Reporting to the Company Directors, the successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of accounting and finance activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, royalty management, reconciliations, payroll support and month-end reporting.
This position is suited to someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing their responsibilities independently with appropriate guidance and support.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with accounts payable, including invoice processing and weekly payment runs.
Assist with accounts receivable, account follow-ups and outstanding collection.
Perform bank, balance sheet and other month-end reconciliations.
Assist with month-end close and the preparation of management reports.
Support budgeting, cash flow reporting and revenue recognition processes.
Assist with payroll administration, leave balances and employee entitlement calculations.
Prepare Sporting Organisations royalty reports.




Maintain accurate accounting records across multiple entities.
Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and reporting.
Skills and Experience
A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
At least two years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
Robust working knowledge of Xero.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
Solid attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
