Medallion Architecture | Cloud Schema Design
The role:This is a senior role for a data modeler who can design, document and implement data modelling solutions to support the organisations information management, data analytics and other data-driven initiatives.
What you'll be doing:
Translate dynamic business requirements into high-quality conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Design schemas optimised for multi-tier refinement layers, establishing transparent data definitions from raw ingestion to curated consumption marts.
Maintain comprehensive mapping specifications and data dictionaries while ensuring a seamless, documented handover to data engineers.
Desired Skills and Experiences:
Proven expertise utilising both 3NF (Relational) and Dimensional modeling (Star Schema) methods in enterprise data warehouse environments.
Experience designing models within up-to-date cloud settings (Azure/Databricks preferred) using Medallion Architecture principles.
Commercial ERP software like SAP and experience in large-scale regulated environments being highly advantageous.
