A newly created role exists for a career driven finance graduate, wanting to get a foot into the commercial door OR an already experienced receivables person.
You will be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the finance team.
You will manage incoming payments, ensuring accurate invoicing and maintaining customer accounts, including monitoring outstanding receivables, reconciling accounts and supporting productive cash flow management.Reporting to the FC, and working closely with another AR person,



your duties will include:Preparing and issuing customer invoicesMonitoring accounts to identify debts and follow up on overdue paymentsAllocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accountsInvestigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and payment issuesManaging customer credit limits and performing credit checksPreparing aged debtors reports and providing updatesSupporting cash flow forecasting through accurate receivables reportingAssisting with month end reconciliations and reporting.Our ideal applicant will have demonstrated experience of 2+ years in a similar role, with a robust understanding of invoicing, collections and reconciliations.
We require a solid organiser with very strong communication skills.
This role would also suit a recently qualified finance graduate, looking for a first move into the commercial world.
Your experience in a high volume transactional workplace would be a distinct advantage, along with your prior exposure to accounting/ERP systems.
