Excellent chance for an intermediate level Contracts Administrator to join an excellent Brisbane based building contractor who pride themselves with their excellent reputation, repeat business and quality of project delivery.
With approximately 60 permanent members of staff nationally, this building contractor is experiencing a boom across Brisbane and the Gold Coast within the multi-residential space particularly low-to-medium rise units, townhouses and hotels valued from $10M-$40M in value.
Now they are seeking to hire a Contracts Administrator to join its small, but growing team.
The initial project:
$20M, 8 level unit project in Southport
or
$25M townhouse project in Labrador
Be based out of offices in Slacks Creek with options to work from home and on site Labrador or Southport.
Reporting to the project manager, on a day-to-day basis you will perform the following duties;
Contract letting and procurement
Cost reporting and forecasting
Working on a Design and Construct (D&C;) project
Preparing Scope of Works
RFI's




Assess progress claims and subcontract payments
Preparing and submitting variations to the client
To be suitable for this position it is anticipated that you will possess the following;
Will have 3+ years' experience as a Contracts Administrator
Ideally have a construction related tertiary qualification, ideally in Construction Management or Engineering
Will have experience working on multi-level residential projects such as hotels, units, social housing, retirement living NDIS, townhouses to $20M in value.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Will have worked for reputable Australian building contractors.
On Offer:
Strong salary from $130,000 - $160,000+Super
Parking at the offices in Slacks Creek, QLD
Initial projects in Southport and Labrador so candidates in between Logan and the Northern Gold Coast will be ideally placed.
Work with repeat business clients
Flexible working arrangements – WFH, on site and in the office.
