What You’ll Be Working On
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of a wide range of settlements, including equity, derivatives, and crypto cash settlements.
- Manage daily cash settlements: trust account reconciliations, batch runs, money market payments, and settlement with the ASX.
- Handle deposits, journals, payments, and real‑time transfers (RTGS/telegraphic) while maintaining accuracy.
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, banking partners, and external stakeholders to resolve queries and support smooth settlements.
- Identify and recommend improvements to settlement procedures and maintain clear documentation in line with service and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in the stockbroking industry, preferably with equity and/or options processing.
- Strong understanding of trust account rules and settlement processes through custodians.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and familiarity with back‑office systems.
- Sharp attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stay organised, proactive, and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Cooperative approach and willingness to learn quickly and build positive relationships across teams.
