This chance is ideal for a junior-to-mid-level lawyer looking to further develop their expertise in estate planning and estate administration within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The role
The successful candidate will support and manage estate planning and probate matters, working both independently and alongside senior practitioners. The role offers hands-on exposure to a broad range of private client matters and genuine career progression opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related estate planning documents
- Assist with and manage probate and estate administration files
- Advise clients on succession planning and asset protection strategies
- Liaise with executors, trustees, and beneficiaries
- Conduct legal research and prepare correspondence and court documents as required
- Support senior lawyers on complex or high-value estates
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with approximately 2 years PQE in estate planning and/or probate
- Experience drafting wills and managing estate administration files
- Strong understanding of succession and trust legislation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage files with appropriate supervision
- Professional and client-focused
- Strong attention to detail
- Organised with effective time management skills
- Eager to develop technical expertise within private client law
- Collaborative and team-oriented
