This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience working on real‑world transport and aviation projects while learning from experienced engineers, planners and modellers in a supportive and collaborative environment.

How you'll make a difference

- Build your technical skills and industry knowledge while working alongside experienced transport planners, modellers and engineers.
- Assist with gathering,



organising and analysing transport and engineering data using established tools and procedures.
- Support the delivery of transport planning, modelling and engineering tasks, including technical calculations, analysis and project documentation.
- Learn how industry standards and guidelines are applied throughout the planning and design process.
- Contribute to developing innovative solutions to real-world transport and mobility challenges.
- Gain exposure to transport modelling, traffic analysis and planning for the movement of people across a range of transport modes.
- Learn how Safe System principles are applied to improve safety outcomes for all road users.
- Participate in project meetings, site visits and multidisciplinary collaboration while building practical experience across a variety of transport and aviation projects.

Requirements for Success

- Summer Intern attributes: Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment. You'll bring strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
- Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree relevant to the role you are applying for.
- Commencement: Able to work full time hours from mid November 2026 – mid February 2027 (flexible).
- Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. Depending on the role and business requirements, we may also consider applications from candidates on student or graduate visas.
