About the role

We have several exciting opportunities available to join our team and help deliver exceptional events. In these roles, you will work alongside highly skilled and passionate professionals who are committed to providing outstanding service and creating memorable guest experiences.

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic hospitality professionals who are equally comfortable providing premium table service, crafting cocktails, and recommending wines. We take pride in delivering friendly, efficient, and skilled service at every event.

As a member of our Catering team, you will play an integral role in the successful delivery of events, supporting operations before, during, and after service to ensure the highest standards are achieved. Working across a diverse range of events, this role offers variety, excitement, and the opportunity to contribute to world‑class event experiences where no days are the same.

About you

You will be reliable, punctual, and maintain a positive attitude towards your work. We are seeking individuals who thrive in a team environment, enjoy contributing to a shared goal, and are passionate about creating exceptional experiences for our guests.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a valid RSA certificate, be physically fit, and have experience working in fast‑paced, high‑volume hospitality environments.

You’ll also need:

- You must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Available to work across a 7‑day roster.
- Have valid working rights in Australia.
- High level of personal presentation and grooming
- Excellent work ethic – Reliable, punctual, positive attitude, resilient
- Thrive on being part of and contributing to a high performing team.
- Able to provide a high level of customer service.
- Prepare and pack down event space – e.g.,



handling furniture or stock (not limited to)
- Physically fit – you will need to walk around the large venue and at times lift/move items.

You must have experience and one or more of the following attributes:

- Ability to confidently carry 3 plates or more and clear up to 5 – mandatory
- Understanding of food allergens and dietaries
- Understanding of sequence of service specifically for gala sit‑down lunches and dinner
- Event Set Up
- Bar tending/Cocktail experience

Desirable

- Food Handling Certificate
- Previous barista experience
- Previous experience working in a large entertainment venue

Essential

- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA)

There will be choice of interview & corresponding induction dates:

Interview: Wednesday, 8 July (Group 1)

Interview: Thursday, 9 July (Group 2)

***Please note: We cannot change the interview or the corresponding induction dates; please ensure you can be available for both days.

Induction and Catering Training Dates:

Group 1

- 21 July – Induction
- 22 July – Training

Group 2

- 23 July – Induction
- 24 July – Training

Shift times

Shifts will typically be either:

- Day shifts – with early morning start times (some shifts may start very early depending on the event we are catering for, e.g. Gala Breakfast)
- Evening shifts – starting later in the day and finishing in the evening including late night finish (most shifts will cater for Cocktail functions and Gala dinners)

You should expect to be rostered onto shifts during the week and on weekends.
