Reporting to the Category Manager, you'll support sourcing and category management activities across a range of spend categories, helping deliver value through cost optimisation, supplier performance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sourcing and category strategies through spend, market, and supplier analysis.
- Assist with procurement planning and forecasting to ensure continuity of supply.
- Build and maintain solid supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and value creation.
- Support supplier onboarding, contract administration, and negotiations.
- Contribute to procurement reporting and data analysis.
- Collaborate on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Inventory Management process improvements.
- Support regional and global procurement projects as required.
About You
You’ll bring:
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations,
or a related field.
- Procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience, or a strong understanding of these functions.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with sound commercial judgement.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- CIPS qualifications (or working towards them) will be highly regarded.
