Your new role As an Accounting Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the Business Services & Tax team, working closely with senior leadership and managing a diverse client portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of business clients and acting as their trusted advisor
- Providing technical expertise across tax planning, structuring, and compliance
- Reviewing work and ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery
- Leading advisory engagements including forecasting, strategy, and reporting
- Mentoring and developing junior team members
- Contributing to business growth and continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
- CA or CPA qualified
- Extensive experience in Australian public practice (business services/tax)
- Solid technical skills across complex tax and group structures
- Proven experience managing client portfolios and workflows
- Leadership capability with experience mentoring or managing teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial mindset with the ability to provide strategic advice
