Job Title: Casual Early Childhood Educators & Teachers (12+ Months Experience Required)

Job Summary:
Casual Early Childhood Educators and Teachers Wanted - Flexibility + Variety! Early Childhood + OSH Opportunities Available! ASAP Start | Inner Melbourne Suburbs
Are you an experienced Early Childhood Educator or Teacher with at least 12 months of industry experience (excluding placements) looking for flexibility, variety and the opportunity to work across high-quality services? We'd love to hear from you. Join Tradewind Australia's casual Early Years team and enjoy the flexibility to choose when and where you work while gaining experience across a variety of quality early learning services. If you're interested, you can also pick up Outside School Hours (OSH) shifts for additional variety and hours.

You'll have:
- A minimum of 12 months' professional experience working in Early Childhood Education (excluding student placements)
- Experience working in long day care, kindergarten or similar early learning settings
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent), or a Bachelor degree or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education with current VIT registration
- A genuine passion for working with children and commitment to child safety
- Current WWCC (Or VIT), First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma,
Do Food Safely qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Mandatory Reporting and National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility and a proactive, positive attitude, willing to go above and beyond to make any day run as smoothly as possible
- Reliable transport to travel between services
Key duties:
- Engage with children in meaningful play-based learning activities
- Implement and contribute to the development of educational programs that are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care, at all times
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning experiences where required
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with coworkers
- Assist with daily routines, as required by the service
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Passionate about early childhood education and care
- Confidence to work successfully with children from birth to school age
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to contribute wherever needed
- Ability to work effectively as part of any team
- Strong understanding of EYLF, VEDYLF and Child Safety Standards
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a casual capacity
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Please note: This position is suitable for experienced educators with a minimum of 12 months' industry experience. We are not currently recruiting graduates or students for these casual roles.
