About the Role
As a Receptionist, you will support a compassionate, community-focused service by delivering high-quality reception and administrative assistance to the Doorways team. You will be the friendly face and voice that greets clients, provides information, and ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations across the program. Reporting to the Regional Manager, this is a fixed-term full‑time position, contracted until 29 January 2027, based on‑site in Werribee, VIC.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors and provide a warm welcome
- Answer calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate parties
- Administer reception duties including managing emails, mail, filing systems, data entry and office supplies
- Support and assist community members with financial cards, record collections and entry of information into the internal data system
- Complete all required training
- Collaborate with the team to maintain communication, support meetings and events, and contribute to a positive team culture
- Provide client service respectfully, with responsive support to people accessing Doorways services
Qualifications
- A demonstrated background in administration, reception or customer service
- Strong capability using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and general PC applications
- Experience supporting complex clients and confidently de‑escalating difficult conversations
- CertificateIII in Administration (desirable)
- A current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check
- A current Victorian Driver’s Licence
Conditions
Compensation is in accordance with the SCHADS Award – Level2. The role is fixed‑term full‑time, contracted until 29 January2027.
