2027 Neuropsychiatry Registrar

About the role

- Four registrar positions available – two general roles (inpatient & intake), Epworth, and neurostimulation.
- This position offers rich opportunities to work in neuropsychiatry, supporting assessment and interventions within inpatient and outpatient settings.
- The Neuropsychiatry Centre provides expert multidisciplinary care to consumers from across Victoria and Australia.
- Opportunity to work alongside a passionate and dedicated team.

About you

- Current general registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- Appropriate tertiary health qualifications – MBBS or equivalent.
- Capacity to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to problem‑solve in a changing workplace.
- Effective communication skills and passion for continued professional development and research.
- Flexibility in work timetable, working across inpatient and outpatient.
- Passion for caring and making a genuine difference in the lives of public mental health consumers and carers.
- Provide quality consumer‑focused care and evidence‑based interventions.
